Georgia has embarked on a successful effort of exporting apples, which has already amounted to 2.2 million USD. From the period of August 1 – November 23, Georgia has exported 5, 045 tonnes of apples, which exceeds an export scale of the same momentum per 2019 in 12 times. As a success story – worth of export has increased in 1, 9 million USD.
Apple export has mostly, 4 884 tonnes, been exported to the Russian Federation. Nevertheless, dwellers of Kazakhstan, Armenia, Singapore and Hong Kong can enjoy exported Georgian apples.
